Hey guys, long time no see!
Scott Ian is on his way to Australia for the 'talking shows' so I'm gunna have a chat to him on this episode.
I'll also talk about the upcoming Unify Gathering controversy, tour news, and play you some great tunes from Aussie bands like Pagan, Clowns, and Circles!

November 30, 2017 01:25 PM PST

It'd been a while since I had sat down with anyone from Australian Pop Punk (or conscious rock) band Tonight Alive.
So, with a few emails in place, I went to sit down with lead singer and songwriter, Jenna McDougall for a good chat about their upcoming album Underworld, touring, the departure of long term member Wak, family, and working with Corey Taylor on a song in this new album.
It's a ripper chat so enjoy!

This week I wanted to pay respect to Malcolm Young from AC/DC, who passed on the 18th of this month.
This contains interviews with Malcolm, Scott Ian, Malcolm's Guitar Tech, and some great tunes.
I hope you enjoy.

I really love this episode of Distortion. By request, people wanted industry professionals, and first cab off the rank are Bec and Emily from Deathproof PR in Melbourne Australia.
They decided to start their own company after finding that the music they love wasn't getting the love, and now, nearly 7 years later, they are among the heavy hitters. Hugely respected and knowledgeable, I hope you enjoy this chat.

As always, thanks so much to my patrons who support the podcast, I honestly can't thank you enough. You're the best.

It's finally here! The full line up announcement for Download Festival Australia 2018! So in this weeks show, I'll go over the line up and was lyrical on why it's a great thing for Australia (we are insanely jealous of the festivals that Europe gets).
I play some tunes to introduce you to some of the Aussie bands on the line up, and then get into one hell of a chat with Liam Cormier, lead singer for Cancer Bats who is always such a great guy to chew the fat with.
You will also hear a brand new track from Cavalera Conspiracy from their up coming album, so stay tuned!

HUGE show for you this week everyone, so much new music going on and some tour news, but the biggest thing is my interview with guitarist/producer, Mr Gilby Clarke. You know him best for his work with Guns N' Roses, but also as a partof Slash's Snakepit, and Kings Of Chaos, and he's a helluva nice guy, coming to Australia for show very soon.
I've got new music to play for you from Polaris (AUS) Colour & Shade (AUS) Alien Weaponry (NZ) Pop EVil (US) and more!

Welcome once again legends!
Todays show will cover off heaps of tour news including download Festival Australia 2018, and a great chat with lead singer and guitarist of FUEL, Bret Scallions. They're coming to the country for the first time in 17 years, so I'll talk to him about their debut album Sunburn, find out how many songs they're playing from that on this tour, we talk about BEER, and his love of brewing, his family, and bands that he was into growing up.
I'll play you new Toehider, and I'll introduce some of you to Melbourne band Omnific and play you a track from the, really cool stuff.

Joining me on this episode is the metal legend, Max Cavalera who really needs no intro. But he and his brother Iggor are touring Australia with the ROOTS tour, playing that album in it's entirety, so I spoke to Max about the album and what to expect.
The very excellent Skindred are joining them on this tour, so I'll play you a track from them, and new Cligula's Horse and King Parrot.
